Bullying and Suicide

People all over North America have been cyberbullied. Some of them are not bullied physically. According to studies up to 50% of teens have been Cyber bullied.

Cyber Bullying is when bullies attack on the internet. Including emails and texts messages. This also happens on FaceBook, Twitter, Snap Chat and Instagram. The things that Cyber Bullies do are putting really, really embarrassing photos or videos on youtube as well as other sites. Some say it is the worst kind of bullying. Bullies do still attack on school campuses that much now, but now they are starting to hack into phones and start attacking people.

People who are confused or not thinking right commit suicide because they don’t know what els to do to help them with there problem. The sad part is, there are millions of ways to find help for yourself when it comes to massive pain like that. But when you do not realize that and just act like that without thinking about your family, well that is not just painful. It is also very selfish. All you are thinking about  when you contemplate death is yourself. You are not even giving any thought to the people who love you. For all I know your family will be heartbroken.

Believe it or not 1700 Teens by the ages of 18,12,13 or older die from suicide every year.

Trust me when I tell you this. Suicide would be the last thing you would ever want to do. Plus if you attempt to kill yourself, and don’t succeed, you might have to live with various health problems for the rest of your life.

There was a girl I worked with and she lost her close friend because of this. When I found out her friend killed herself I was shocked. I never thought a good friend could or would ever do an action like that.

One day just before I graduated high school there was a medical lock down. At first I thought it had something to do with a gym class accident but I was wrong. As sad as it sounds it was a girl who tried to kill herself with some pills. She was taken to the hospital, I wanted to see her and tell her how sorry I was for the issues she was going through. But my teacher would not let me, I understand that. Her parents of course would not like some stranger interfering with their lives.

One of my former high school teachers has her in his class and he told me that she is doing great. That pain is all gone. Not just so you all know I do not know what it was she was upset about but what ever it was I am sure it had to do with some bullying or some personal troubles.

At the library I met a girl who was going through the same troubles. Oh how I felt so bad for her. She was a 13 year old and had some scars on her arms. When I saw the scars I was shocked because I finally found out how my parents would have felt if they saw something like that on me. Meeting the girl I hope changed her life for the better. I have not seen her in a long time so I am hoping that she is taking the good turn. Meeting her reminded me from the 2003 teen drama 13. The Evan Rachel Wood movie gave me a revelation on the dangers of self harm. Do not get me wrong there have been times through out my life when I was super close to that movie.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a very temporary problem.

Please see how these parents react to how their daughter died. Think about your parents and how they will react.

Bullying is just a small part of life. It really is. You will be ok. As long as you talk to your parents you’ll be fine.
